April is Global Volunteer Month and we are kicking it off in Rock Creek Trail by reLeafing the area. The 2023 tornado took out 1000's of trees, and the KKAC, with a grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service, has 12,000 (you read that right) saplings to replant and renew the area.
We offer a limited supply of tools.
Please do not park directly in front of the businesses.
Lunch will be provided.
What to bring:
1) Water Bottle
2) Bug Spray
3) Snacks
4) Trowel/Shovel
5) Gloves
What to wear:
1) Comfortable, closed toed shoes
2) Prepare for the weather
