Profile discoverability
Indicate visibility to organizations outside of those you are currently volunteering. Doing so by establishing email preferences from outside organizations. Remaining in the VolunteerMark network, but keeping your profile hidden.
We offer this option for those looking to be more passive in finding volunteer opportunities. Making your profile undiscoverable allows you to pick and choose specific opportunities at your own pace, without the pressure of organizations reaching out to you. Follow the instructions below to learn more!
Within your account settings dashboard icon go to the preferences tab to view the questions available within that tab. The second question is, “Would you like to allow new organizations to search for you and send you volunteer opportunity invitations?” Select “No, I want to be undiscoverable” to hide yourself from volunteer lists.
