OIC of South Florida is a member of the OIC of America network founded in 1964 by Reverend Dr. Leon H. Sullivan to provide employment training and economic opportunity to individuals living in historically impoverished communities. OIC of South Florida has been recognized as a training and education leader in South Florida for developing job skills and workforce readiness for youth and adults who are unemployed, underemployed, unskilled, previously involved in the justice system or otherwise at-risk. OIC of South Florida is leading the way in economic mobility through innovation by providing unique training and skill development through its STEM programs as well as offering direct employment opportunities via its for-profit social enterprise, OIC Strategic Integration.
